Palladium (Pd), considered as one of the eight noble metals along with Gold, Silver, Platinum, Ruthenium, Rhodium, Osmium, and Iridium. This soft silvery-white metal has characters of high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and abrasion resistance. It has been often applied to aircraft, electronics, automobiles, and nuclear power industries. However, annual yield of Pd production is five-thousandth of gold . This has made Palladium a very precious metal.
